Kebebasan Finansial Secepatnya!

Hari ini jum'at 10 desember 2010, pagi-pagi sekali saya sudah bangun untuk melaksanakan perintah sang pencipta. Dengan tubuh yang masih sedikit mengantuk saya berjalan kearah kamar mandi kemudian masuk kedalamnya. Ketika melihat cermin, wow tampan sekali saya hari ini (memuji diri sendiri hehe..). Setelah melihat diriku di cermin badan terasa sedikit lebih segar, saatnya untuk mengambil wudhu. Setelah mengambil wudhu tentulah saya lanjutkan untuk bermunajat di hadapan sang khalik.

Taukah apa yang pertama kali terlintas dipikiranku hari ini? "saya harus memiliki kebebasan finansial secepatnya!" itu yang saya pikirkan.

Semua orang pasti memiliki pikiran yang sama seperti saya. Ingin memiliki kebebasan finansial, bisa membeli apapun yang ia inginkan. Saya selalu membayangkan saya akan mempunyai mobil yang akan saya beli menggunakan uang saya sendiri. Dan saya yakin itu pasti terwujud. Betapa bahagianya saya ketika suatu saat bisa menanyakan hal seperti ini kepada kedua orang tua saya: "pah, mah mau dibeliin apa pas nanti lebaran?" dan pastilah kedua orang tuaku bisa bangga akan semua itu. Dan pada saat ingin pulang ke kampung halaman selalu saja dana menjadi masalah utamaku untuk memilih transportasi apa yang saya pakai. Karena masih menggunakan dana dari orangtua tentu saja saya memilih yang murah. Saya selalu membayangkan ketika hendak pulang ke kampung halaman masalah utama tadi tidak terpikirkan lagi olehku karena sudah mendapatkan kebebasan finansial.

Saya membayangkan ketika adik-adik ku membutuhkan sesuatu saya dapat mewujudkannya tanpa harus meminta kepada orangtua ku.

Hal-hal diatas adalah yang selalu saya bayangkan setiap hari. Memikirkan bisa memiliki banyak uang dan dapat membantu orang-orang yang saya sayangi dan orang-orang yang membutuhkan. Tidak menutup kemungkinan hal-hal diatas akan terwujud nantinya. Amien ya rabb..

Sedikit Curahan Hati

Saat ini adalah masa-masa sulit bagi saya. Berada di tempat yang baru bagi saya adalah hal yang membutuhkan proses untuk beradaptasi dan membaca situasi. Orang-orang yang ada sangat-sangat berbeda dibandingkan dengan yang ada di kampus saya yang lama. Selain perlu beradaptasi, saya juga perlu mengenal lebih jauh satu persatu personal yang ada. Watak-watak mereka, serta perangai mereka. Menurut sebagian orang mungkin ini adalah hal yang mudah. Namun bagiku ini hal yang cukup rumit. Karena memahami seseorang adalah pekerjaan yang gampang-gampang susah.

Selain itu keuangan yang dikeluarkan juga tidak sama pada saat di kampus yang lama. Uang parkir yang harus saya keluarkan setiap harinya, uang bensin setiap pekannya, uang makan setiap hari dan lain-lain yang membutuhkan pengaturan agar tidak keteteran dalam keuangan.

Dan lagi ketika dana-dana tak terduga yang keluar seperti di tilang polisi yang sedang mencari nafkah (cape deh..) dan lain sebagainya.
Pada hal ini ilmu manajemen saya sangat-sangat diperlukan. Dengan mengandalkan dana dari orang tua saya sangat tidak enak. umur yang menurut saya sudah sangat pantas menghasilkan uang dan tidak bergantung lagi kepada orang tua. Saya memutuskan untuk kembali ngeblog dan ingin mendapatkan earning dari blog-blog yang saya miliki.
Semoga keputusan ini dapat di jabah sama sang khalik dan memberikan rezeki yang pantas untukku.

Sepeda yang dulu hanyalah kendaraan tradisional kini telah menjadi kendaraan alternatif yang dapat digunakan oleh siapapun. Dari anak-anak hingga orang dewasa bisa menggunakannya. Selain ramah lingkungan, sepeda juga sangat berguna untuk kesehatan kita. Dengan menggunakan sepeda setiap hari badan kita akan terasa bugar karena seluruh organ tubuh kita bergerak ketika menggunakan sepeda. Gerakan "Bike to Work" yang belakangan ini telah diterapkan merupakan suatu ide yang sangat baik untuk menjaga kelestarian alam ini.

Ada suatu tempat yang telah menerapkan penggunaan sepeda sebagai kendaraan sehari-hari. Bertempat di Desa mekar jaya kecamatan haurgeulis kabupaten indramayu jawa barat tepatnya di kampus Al-Zaytun. Disini kegiatan sehari-hari dilakukan dengan menggunakan transportasi sepeda. Ada jalur yang dibuat khusus untuk pejalan kaki serta ada pula jalan yang dikhususkan untuk pengguna sepeda. Karena pengguna sepeda yang banyak, maka dibuat rambu-rambu agar bersepeda bisa lebih tertib.

Layaknya rambu-rambu lalulintas pada umumnya disini ada larangan tidak boleh melintas atau forbodden sering kita temui. Namun ada rambu-rambu yang cukup unik disini. Ada rambu larangan tidak boleh melintas untuk wanita yang melintasi jalur pria dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Disini juga bisa ditemui zebra cross untuk menyebrang. Bagi siapa saja yang ingin menyebrang. Jika ingin menyeberang harus melintasi zebra cross yang ada. Jika hal ini tidak di indahkan maka keamanan akan menilang orang tersebut yang kemudian akan dibawa ke kantor keamanan untuk diminta pertanggung jawabannya.

Dengan ditetapkannya sepeda sebagai kendaraan utama dikampus ini maka mau tidak mau seluruh kegiatan sehari-hari harus dilakukan dengan menggunakan sepeda agar kegiatan yang ada dapat berjalan lancar. Karena lingkungan yang hijau tempat ini juga memberikan kenyamanan ketika bersepeda. Sepanjang jalan ditanami pohon-pohon yang bisa memberikan kesejukan ketika melintas diantara pohon-pohon yang ada.

Penerapan hemat enrgi sangatlah dibutuhkan untuk melestarikan lingkungan disekitar kita. Dengan mengawali dari hal kecil kita dapat memberikan dampak yang besar bagi bumi kita tercinta. Mari kita jaga bersama kelestarian alam kita yang nantinya akan kita wariskan ke anak cucu kita. Kesadaran Manusia Terhadap Tuhan

Kita semua pasti tahu setiap orang yang hidup di dunia pasti memiliki tuhan. Ada yang begitu mengagungkan kebesaran tuhan, dan ada pula yang dengan sengaja melupakan keberadaan tuhan. Disaat seseorang mulai bersenang-senang dengan kenikmatan duniawi, saat itulah mereka akan melupakan sang pencipta yang begitu agung. Disaat seseorang mulai terpuruk dan merasakan kejamnya dunia, disaat itulah seseorang mulai kembali mengingat tuhan yang senantiasa mengingat seluruh ummat-ummatnya tanpa terkecuali. Semasa kecil kita pasti pernah mendengarkan guru yang mengatakan tuhan itu maha mendengar, tuhan itu maha melihat, tuhan itu maha tahu, dan tuhan itu maha segalanya. Hal itu adalah benar adanya. Ia selalu tahu apa yang dilakukan hambanya. Namun apakah kita sudah bisa tersadar dengan kebesarannya itu? saya rasa sama sekali belum.

Dimulai dari waktu shubuh. Tuhan berharap kita dapat menjalankan perintahnya, namun apa yang kita lakukan? sama sekali hati ini tertutup untuk menjalankannya. Telinga sengaja tidak mendengar kumandang adzan yang begitu keras yang menganjurkan kita untuk shalat. Namun kita tetap terbuai oleh nikmatnya tidur. Kemudian berlanjut pada waktu dzuhur. Tuhan berharap kita dapat menyapanya pada siang itu. Namun apa yang kita lakukan? selepas beraktivitas kita mulai menyantap kenikmatan yang diberikannya berupa makan siang, kemudian setelah itu kita malah menonton televisi, tidur siang, atau melakukan kegiatan yang lainnya tanpa sedikit pun terbesit dipikiran kita untuk menyapanya sejenak. Berlanjut pada waktu shalat ashar. Tuhan masih berharap agar hambanya dapat menyapanya disore hari. Namun apa yang kita lakukan? Kita terbuai dengan keindahan disore hari. Ditemani secangkir teh hangat bersama sepiring kue kita duduk santai didepan teras rumah menghabiskan waktu sore begitu saja hingga waktu ashar pun terlewatkan. Kemudian berlanjut diwaktu shalat magrib. Tuhan tetap setia menunggu hambanya yang akan menyapanya. Namun apa yang kita lakukan? kita tetap saja masih terbuai dengan indahnya dunia. Tanpa rasa bersalah kita melewatkan waktu maghrib yang terhitung sangat singkat. Berlanjut pada waktu isya. Lagi dan lagi tuhan tetap mengharapkan hambanya akan menyapanya. Namun apa yang kita lakukan? Selepas makan malam kita malah begitu menikmati sajian acara-acara televisi, ketemu dengan pacar, dan sebagainya dibandingkan harus menyapanya sejenak.

Lima waktu yang begitu berarti hanya terlewatkan begitu saja dalam sehari. Bayangkan jika setiap hari kita terus menerus melakukan hal seperti ini? berapa banyak kewajiban yang kita tinggalkan? sedangkan kita selalu mengeluh kepadanya terhadap apa yang telah diberikan kepada kita. Bukankah kita sangat egois? Kita tidak pernah merasa puas dengan semua yang telah diberikan kepada kita. Hanya keluhan yang terus ada dipikiran kita terhadapnya. Sedangkan hanya menyapanya saja kita selalu lupa. Demikian beberapa pemikiran yang dapat saya tuangkan disini semoga tulisan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk kehidupan saya dan kita semua kedepannya. Bangkit Kembali Untuk Ngeblog!

Semangat ini kembali muncul setelah sekian lama fakum menulis di blog ini. Semangat ini tumbuh lagi berawal ketika saya membaca profile bapak blogger indonesia, yakni Enda Nasution. Profile beliau sangat membangun jiwa saya untuk kembali menulis. Beliau sudah mulai menulis sejak duduk bangku SD. Ketika duduk di bangku SMP dan SMA beliau banyak mengikuti kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan tulis menulis. Hingga akhirnya saat ini beliau dijuluki "Bapak Blogger Indonesia". Beliau telah memberikan semangat baru kepada saya untuk kembali menulis. Dalam profilnya dia menulis bahwa blogger gak boleh minder untuk menulis. Sebab menulis akan memberikan banyak manfaat bagi kita. Dan beliau juga mengatakan untuk menjadi blogger yang sukses tidak bisa dengan waktu yang singkat. Seorang blogger harus sabar dan selalu tekun menulis. Selain itu beliau juga mengatakan bahwa dengan ngeblog kita dapat menghasilkan pundi-pundi rupiah dari blog yang kita miliki. Dan sekali lagi beliau mengatakan asalkan kita dapat bersabar dan selalu tekun menulis.

Dengan semangat yang saat ini telah kembali saya berharap semangat untuk ngeblog ini gak akan pernah pudar lagi. Meskipun hanya tulisan-tulisan yang mungkin gak terlalu berarti, namun saya berharap tulisan-tulisan saya ini dapat berguna untuk orang banyak.

Selain karena terinspirasi sama bapak blogger, keinginan saya untuk kembali ngeblog karena sebentar lagi saya akan menyelesaikan pendidikan S1 saya. Tentu sebelum menyelesaikan S1 saya harus menyelesaikan kewajiban saya berupa skripsi. Mulai sekarang saya harus rajin-rajin nulis supaya nantinya gak kaget ketika menyusun skripsi.

Seneng banget deh! Pagerank blog saya ini bisa kembali lagi ke 3. Alhamdulillah. Mungkin Google hanya ngetes aja kali ya.

Saya melihat perubahan ini waktu saya lagi meeteng pembuatan proyek database design yang di berikan oleh dosen saya. Ketika mau meeting data yang saya bawa dari flashdisk gak kebaca. Cuma ada tulisan "-U -U" kan bikin saya bingung. Eh pas saya telusurin, ternyata bermasalah pada flashdisk nya. Ternyata falshdisk nya bajakan, jadi terkadang file yang di masukin ke flashdisk itu jadi corrupt. Makannya teman-teman, kalo beli barang mending sekalian yang original aja. Dari pada negerugiin diri sendiri dan orang lain. Lagian lebih puas kan kalo make barang original. Nah.. Alhasih meeting bukannya ngomongin database, malah ngomongin tehnik-tehnik SEO sama adik-adik kelas (ciailaahh adik kelas.. he3x) Kebetulan sekarang mereka yang lagi di semester tiga lagi ada kontes SEO gitu dari pak Dadan selaku dosen mata kuliah Internet System Administration. Nah entar pemenang dari kontes ini bakal dapet nilai khusus dari pak dosen.

Keunikan Modem Ber-Batre

Hai sobat-sobat blogger.. Maaf baru sempat posting lagi..Sempat mati suri kemaren..
hehee..
Sekarang saya mau nulis tentang bedanya modem yang tanpa batre dengan modem yang menggunakan batre. Saat ini kita pasti sudah sangat familiar sekali dengan sosok modem yang biasa digunakan para pengguna internet khususnya para teman-teman blogger.
Contoh modem yang menggunakan batre yaitu AT&T U875. Mungkin diantara teman-teman ada yang menggunakan modem yang sama seperti yang saya gunakan ini. Tanpa menggunakan batre modem ini tidak dapat berfungsi. Namun modem ini memiliki keunikan tersendiri
dibandingkan dengan modem-modem yang lain pada umumnya. Ia dapat menyimpan cache secara otomatis.

Jadi kecepatan yang dimilikinya juga menjadi semakin cepat. Modem saya saat ini sudah tidak dapat berjalan normal seperti dulu lagi disebabkan keadaan batre yang sudah mengembung. Akibat batre yang mengembung tersebut, modem saya sudah tidak mampu connect terlalu lama. Baru sebentar digunakan, koneksinya akan terputus secara tiba-tiba. Awalnya saya berfikir mungkin karena sinyalnya sedang bermasalah
Maklum lah, saya tinggal di pelosok sinyal disini emang sering banget bermasalah. he3..
Setelah mencari tahu penyebabnya ternyata masalahnya terletak pada batrenya. Kemudian saya mencoba meminjam batre kepada teman yang memiliki modem yang sama seperti yang saya gunakan. Hasilnya, koneksi berjalan lancar lagi tanpa adanya koneksi terputus secara tiba-tiba. Dan browsing bisa kembali berjalan lancar. Solusi Koneksi Internet Yang Putus-Nyambung

Baru bisa posting lagi nih. Sebenarnya banyak ide yang bakal dituangin ke blog ini. Cuma karena mobilitasnya yang kurang (koneksi internet yang lemot.. he3) jadi males untuk mosting.

Sekarang saya mau ngebahas tentang koneksi internet yang tadi nih. Beberapa hari belakangan ini, koneksi dari ISP(Internet Service Provider) yang saya gunakan agak sedikit menyebalkan. ISP yang saya gunakan saat ini yaitu IM2. Mungkin teman-teman sudah sangat familiar sama ISP yang satu ini ya.

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada ISP yang saya gunakan ini adalah di saat saya connect ke internet dan berhasil connect, tidak beberapa lama kemudian modem saya kembali disconnect. Setiap saya mengulang untuk connect kembali ke internet, hal yang sama akan terjadi berulang kali. Sempat dongkol juga sih, pengen beralih ke ISP yang lain seperti XL yang diberitakan hanya menjual 150.000 kartu mereka ke pasaran. Saya sempat berfikir apakah modem saya udah rusak ya? maklum modem saya udah dua tahun menemani saya dalam suka maupun duka. Halah!

Dan sempat terpikir juga apakah user saya dipakai orang ya? karena apabila ada yang menggunakan user secara bersamaan dalam waktu yang sama, maka salah satu dari pemakai user akan disconnect secata otomatis. Tapi setelah berhari-hari menjalani rutinitas browsing dengan keadaan yang sangat tidak nyaman ini. Akhirnya saya menemukan solusinya. Saya mencoba untuk mengunjungi situs IM2 kemudian saya login dengan username saya dan mengubah password saya. Setelah mengubah password pada situs IM2, kemudian saya mengubah password yang ada pada pengaturan koneksi di modem saya. Alhasil apa yang saya lakukan tidak sia-sia. Saya bisa kembali browsing tanpa takut terputus lagi. Semoga kisah ini bisa menjadi informasi yang berguna untuk teman-teman sekalian he3. Salam sukes...!

Ketimpangan sosial ekonomi yang begitu sangat kontras, bergesernya hampir semua budaya luhur Indonesia, tingginya tindak kriminal, dll., ikut mengiringi kemajuan ekonomi yang dibangun dengan sistem sekarang ini. Dan oleh karena itulah, maka suatu sistem untuk membangun ekonomi kita agar hal-hal di atas dapat tereliminisir, sangat diperlukan. Sebuah sistem yang berazaskan kepada keadilan hakiki dan kejujuran yang pasti akan dipertanggung jawabkan, serta juga didasarkan pada semangat persaudaraan, universalitas terjunjung sangat tinggi di dalamnyalah yang, menurut saya, akan menjawab semua permasalahan tersebut, sistem ekonomi yang Rahmatan lill 'alamiin.

Pertahanan dan Keamanan yang mana menurut saya adalah hal yang juga tidak dapat dinomor duakan. Dengan sangat luasnya teritorial negara ini, begitu plural dan majemuk bangsa serta budayanya, juga demikian strategisnya negara ini, maka tentu ancaman dan gangguan pasti akan datang, jika hal tersebut datang, maka semua aspek kehidupan bangsa ini akan terseret ke dalam masalah yang pada akhirnya akan menggoyang integritas dari Bangsa dan negara ini, Indonesia.

Apapun yang Tuhan berikan kepadaku, adalah aku yakin itu semua amanat untuk bangsaku, untuk negeriku tercinta. Inilah perspektif kebangsaan dan kenegaraanku dalam melihat apa yang harus dan akan kuberikan bagi bangsa dan negara. Aku untuk Negeriku, Indonesia.

Pentingnya Disconnect Pada Modem

Saat ini untuk terkoneksi ke internet sudah sangat mudah. Sudah banyak jasa internet berupa prabayar/pasca bayar yang di tawarkan oleh beberapa Provider yang berbeda. Jasa Internet yang lebih sering di kenal dengan nama Broadband ini sudah digunakan lebih dari berjuta orang di Indonesia (saya juga belum ngitung! hehe.. :) ) Nah, apabila memakai jasa ini, otomatis kita membutuhkan modem agar bisa terkoneksi ke internet. Menggunakan handphone yang tersedia layanan GPRS nya pun sudah bisa untuk terkoneksi ke Internet.

Disini saya mau membahas, pentingnya Disconnect pada modem. Terkadang, mungkin diantara kita sering lupa untuk disconnect modem terlebih dahulu pada saat selesai menggunakannya. Mungkin pada saat anda terburu-buru sehingga lupa untuk disconnect modem anda. Saya ingatkan kepada anda, untuk tidak lupa untuk disconnect modem anda terlebih dahulu sebelum menutup aplikasi modem anda. Sebab apabila modem yang terlalu sering tidak di disconnect terlebih dahulu akan berpengaruh buruk pada kartu yang anda gunakan.

Username anda akan menggantung pada server milik provider yang anda gunakan. Yang apabila username anda sudah menggantung, anda tidak akan bisa untuk connect ke internet kembali. Setiap kali anda ingin connect ke internet, pasti akan ada pesan "Invalid username or password". Mengapa seperti itu? karena username menggantung maka username kita seperti terpakai oleh orang lain. Padahal sebenarnya username kita hanya menggantung.

Saya pernah mengalami hal seperti ini sebelumnya. Karena saya sering lupa untuk disconnect modem saya, akhirnya kartu saya tidak dapat connect ke internet kembali. Jika saya connect, akan ada pesan "Invalid username or password. Kemudian saya menghubungi custommer service kartu prabayar yang saya gunakan, akhirnya saya menemukan solusinya. Custommer service officer Mereka mengatakan bahwa username saya menggantung pada server mereka karena mungkin lupa disconnect terlebih dahulu, atau koneksi sering terputus secara tiba-tiba. Kemudian username saya di restart kembali, dan akhirnya kartu saya bisa connect kembali.

Haha.. ternyata bukan cuma hubungan aja ya yang bisa menggantung. Username juga bisa menggantung lho. So hati-hati jangan sampai username anda menggantung. Disconnect terlebih dahulu modem anda sebelum menutupnya. Sekian informasi yang dapat saya berikan, semoga bermanfaat buat kita semua.

Beberapa Kesalahan Fatal Dalam Merancang Web

Beberapa waktu yang lalu, saya udah pernah menulis beberapa tips agar halaman blog dapat tampil profesional yang saya dapatkan dari Om Agus. Nah kali ini saya kembali menulis tentang gimana cara supaya halaman web/blog kita bisa lebih terjaga dari kesalahan-kesalahan fatal pada saat kita merancang web. Beberapa website memang memiliki desain yang kurang menarik sehingga pengunjung lebih memilih untuk melihat website lain dan mungkin gak akan berkunjung kembali ke website yang jelek tersebut. Untuk itu, desain web juga merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk menarik minat para pengunjung dan meningkatkan reputasi dan popularitas situs kita. Berikut beberapa faktor yang membuat web menjadi kurang menarik:

Background. Sebagai contoh background yang hanya berwarna hitam dengan cahaya atau text putih diatasnya. Background tersebut sepertinya sulit diterima oleh para desainer web dan mengesankan bahwa pemilik situs itu adalah orang pasif, tidak berusaha mempertahankan pengunjung situs yang telah mengunjungi halaman situs-nya.
Contoh lainnya, background warna hitam dengan tulisan hitam diatasnya. Hal ini bahkan lebih buruk daripada pilihan sebelumnya karena tulisan tidak dapat dilihat secara jelas. Untuk membaca text, pengunjung diharuskan menyorot text yang dibaca, dan inilah yang membuat pengunjung merasa malas kembali lagi ke situs tersebut. Contoh lainnya lagi, seperti gambar yang kecil dan background yang berwarna-warni yang sering digunakan oleh desainer pemula, karena mereka mereasa enak untuk melihatnya. Namun, mereka tidak berpikir sebagai pengunjung lain yang melihat web mereka.

Text atau tulisan. Sebagian besar orang sering datang ke suatu situs karena mereka menyukai content yang ada di website tersebut. Jika pengunjung tidak dapat membaca text-nya maka tidak ada alasan bagi mereka untuk tetap mengunjungi situs tersebut.
Sebagai contoh, semua text dalam posisi center. Sebuah halaman web yang memiliki text posisi center pada umumnya tidak menarik minat user dan sulit untuk dibaca.
Text yang bergerak (marquee text). Walaupun beberapa orang menemukan text dapat bergerak mengabaikan content dalam website-nya. Content dalam website dalam menarik pengunjung lebih banyak atau membuat pengunjung pergi tak tersisa. Setidaknya pemilik website dapat membuat content yang menarik dan menghindari kesalahan di dalamnya.

Multimedia. Banyak desainer yang menyukai multimedia dan menggunakannya di setiap proyek yang dijalankan pengunjung situs. Desain web yang penuh dengan multimedia yang berlebihan akan berimbas pada waktu proses loading website yang sangat lama.
Sebagai contoh, gambar yang terlalu banyak. Bentuk gambar, seperti ikon sebaiknya tidak di tampilkan secara berlebihan.

Audio. Audio streaming yang dimainkan secara konstan ketika halaman dibuka akan menganggu pengunjung yang hanya ingin membaca content website saja. Lebih buruk lagi, pemutaran audio sering tidak bisa dimatikan. Ingat! tidak semua orang menyukai jenis musik yang kita sajikan. Jadi jika memang website akan diberi fasilitas audio, maka setidaknya juga memberi akses pengunjung situs untuk dapat mematikannya, jika mereka tidak ingin mendengarnya.

Indonesia kembali menangis

Di awal tahun 2009 ini, Indonesia kembali menangis untuk kesekian kalinya. Tidak di sangka pada awal tahun ini kembali terjadi bencana alam untuk kesekian kalinya bagi bangsa kita ini. Bencana alam yang terjadi, kembali merenggut nyawa-nyawa yang tidak berdosa. Jerit tangis orang-orang yang di tinggal orang yang di cintainya terdengar dimana-mana. Tepat pada tanggal 04 januari 2008 pukul 04.43 WIT terjadi gempa yang berkekuatan 7,6 pada Skala Richter yang mengguncang Indonesia bagian timur tepatnya di Manokwari Papua Barat. Pada kejadian tersebut, 4 hotel hancur rata dengan tanah dan beberapa rumah runtuh. Bahkan kantor bupati juga rusak berat akibat guncangannya. Sedikitnya empat orang tewas dan puluhan luka-luka dalam insiden tersebut. satu di antaranya adalah seorang bocah berumur 10 tahun tewas tertimpa reruntuhan bangunan yang ada.

Gempa yang terjadi ini juga mengguncang sorong, yang kebetulan berdekatan dengan Manokwari. Beberapa rumah di Sorong rusak berat, namun tidak ada korban jiwa. Seluruh penduduk kota Sorong dan Manokwari yang bermukim di daerah pesisir pantai memilih untuk mengungsi ke tempat yang lebih tinggi sebab para penduduk takut jika terjadi gempa susulan.

Sungguh menyedihkan sekali mengapa bangsa kita terus terjadi bencana alam seperti ini. Hingga kapan negara kita akan terus mengalami hal seperti ini. Akankah musibah seperti ini akan terus berlanjut. Mari kita doakan bersama-sama untuk negara tercinta kita ini, agar tidak terjadi lagi hal yang sama seperti ini. Apakah tuhan telah murka terhadap ummatnya sehingga memeberikan cobaan seperti ini?... Wallahu 'alam..

Game dapat meningkatkan hasrat lelaki

Bener gak sih, game komputer dapat ningkatin hasrat lelaki. Wah..
pantes aj, saya kok doyan banget maen game.. Apalagi yang namanya game strategy, saya lahap habis...! :)
Berita ini saya dapat waktu saya lagi jalan pagi setelah shalat shubuh di dunia maya nan indah... Saya pikir, bagus juga nih klo di postingin..
hehe..

Ok, langsung aja ya.. Kenapa sih sebagian lelaki seneng banget yang namanya maen game komputer?... Entah itu game strategy, adventure, sport dan sebagainya.. Mereka rela gk makan, gak minum, gak tidur hanya untuk nge-game di depan komputer kesayangan mereka..

Dari survei yang di lakukan berita harian Telegraph mengungkapkan bahwa laki-laki lebih tertarik bermain game di bandingkan perempuan. Survei menunjukan hasil bahwa laki-laki banyak senang bermain game karena mereka lebih banyak memiliki 'hasrat' untuk berjuang atau mengalahkan. Dengan bermain game, akan mengaktifkan bagian otak laki-laki, berkaitan dengan inginnya mengalahkan, rasa untuk dihargai dan kecanduan.

Seorang profesor bernama Allan Reiss dari Pusat Penilitian Interdisipliner Ilmu Otak di Universitas Stanford, California yang memimpin penelitian itu, mengatakan bahwa perempuan dan laki-laki memiliki pemahaman yang sama mengenai bermain game komputer. Namun, untuk para lelaki bagian otak yang ikut 'bermain' game lebih kuat dan semakin banyak lawan yang di kalahkan atau poin yang didapat, akan membuat otak mereka semakin terangsang. Jadi gak heran kalau kebanyakan lelaki akan semakin lama di depan komputer apabila game yang di mainkannya selalu di menangkan dan seru bagi mereka. Sedangkan untuk wanita, bagian otak tersebut kurang terangsang dan tidak memiliki neurology yang sama untuk menang seperti laki-laki, baik oleh permainan Nintendo Wii, Xbox ataupun PlayStation.

Nah, oleh sebab itu kebanyakan dari kaum lelaki lebih senang bermain game di bandingkan kaum wanita. Selain dapat meningkatkan daya pikir dalam memecahkan masalah, bermain game juga dapat di jadikan buat refreshing. namun bermain game yang sangat lama juga kurang baik untuk kesehatan kita. So, diatur aja waktunya.. Kapan waktu buat nge-game dan kapan waktu buat kegiatan yang lainnya..

Tips agar halaman blog tampil profesional

Nambahin widgets dan aksesoris di halaman blog emang nyenengin selain itu membuat halaman blog kita terlihat sangat cantik. Tapi tahukah anda, ada beberapa hal yang harus di hindari pada halaman blog anda agar terlihat lebih profesional. Kenapa tampilan web harus profesional? untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini bermacam-macam donk ya.. yang jelas jawaban dari saya adalah masalah tampilan.

Anda tahu kan penampilan halaman dengan user interface yang baik adalah hal yang utama, apapun didunia ini pertama kali yang dilihat adalah penampilan jika kesan pertama udah gak baik jelas akan berpengaruh buruk terhadap pengunjung blog anda. Secara realita cinta dan rock and roll (lohh??? he_.) maksud saya secara realita memang penilaian setiap orang bervariasi dan relatif tetapi gak semua salah kan kita mencoba ke arah kesempurnaan.Ya gak sii?...

Nah, saya ada beberapa tips nihh yang saya dapat dari Oom agus. Oom, terimakasih tips-nya ya.. tipsnya bermanfaat banget buat saya. Cara gimana menjadikan blog kita terlihat lebih berisi dan terlihat profesional. Dan apa aja sii yang harus di hindari pada halaman blog kita.

1. Lakukan pengecekan halaman pada beberapa web browser yang berbeda:
Tampilan halaman anda begitu cantik di browser firefox tapi belum tentu terlihat cantik di IE atau Opera atau browser yang lainnya. Untuk itu coba lakukan pengecekan dengan browser berbeda, misalkan: firefox, flock, IE, Opera, safari.

2. Pilihan warna blog : Pemilihan warna memang susah-susah gampang ya.. Semuanya tergantung selera pemilik blog. Jangan terlalu egois, pilih warna sesuai dengan tema blog anda. Coba anda pikir jika blog anda tentang agama dengan pilihan warna hitam, terlihat aneh bukan! Kebanyakan situs warna hitam lebih cenderung ke situs yang bertemakan underground.

3. Hindari memasang jam : Tanyakan pada diri anda sendiri apa gunanya memasang jam di blog anda, jika hanya sebagai pengingat waktu atau untuk mempercantik halaman. Sebaiknya tidak usah digunakan, apa gunanya jam yang ada pada taskbar windows. Yang jelas bakal bikin load page anda semakin berat.

4. Hindari pasang kalender : Apa gunanya kalender windows? orang butuh informasi dari blog anda bukan ingin melihat kalender. Sekedar informasi kalender yang saya maksud adalah kalender umum, beda dengan kalender yang nampilin sebuah posting (biasanya banyak digunakan pengguna wordpress)

5. Hindari pasang jumlah pengunjung tetap : Jika blog anda baru jangan gunakan jumlah pengunjung (counter), ini akan berakibat penilaian yang buruk terhadap blog anda. Walaupun untuk beberapa penyedia layanan counter menyediakan fasilitas untuk memanipulasi dan menambah jumlah pengunjung secara manual, coba anda pikir blog yang baru di buat udah mencapai 100.000 pngunjung mustahil gak tuh?...

6. Jangan memelas untuk mengklik iklan : hindari kata "klik iklan dibawah ini" atau bahasa apapun yang meminta pengunjung anda untuk mengklik iklan. Sampai saat ini ada beberapa blog yang melakukan hal tersebut (maaf jika blog anda termasuk dalam blog ini) siapa sih didunia ini yang suka diperintah, tanpa anda menyuruh pun pengunjung bakal mengklik iklan tersebut jika dirasa berguna bagi meraka.

7. Jangan memasang iklan yang berserakan : Iklan yang banyak memang sangat menguntungkan, namun jangan sampai isi halaman anda hanya iklan dan iklan. Pasang iklan sewajarnya saja dan tahukah anda pengunjung sangat risih dengan adanya iklan yang terlihat melebihi kapasitas dari isi halaman blog anda.

8. Hindari memasang lagu pada blog : Dulu saya berpikir untuk memasang lagu di blog saya, saya berpikir kalo di kasih musik mantep kali ya... Tapi ternyata semua itu hanya membuat blog kita terlihat gak profsional. Selain bikin halaman berat blog yang menampilkan lagu agak terkesan tidak profesional dan maaf agak jadul (jaman dulu). Gak masalah jika blog anda tentang musik atau blog personal tapi untuk blog bisnis kayaknya kurang cocok.

9. Menampilkan status IP pengunjung : Blog anda bukan program spy khan?, jadi lebih baik gak usah dipasang agar pengunjung tidak merasa dimata-matai.

10. Memasang widgets yang tidak ada hubungannya dengan blog : Menambahkan widgets memang menyenangkan tapi jika tidak ada hubungannya malah blog anda terkesan aneh. Pasanglah widget sesuai dengan kebutuhan saja.

11. Jangan hanya Copy-Paste : Saya tidak melarang anda untuk melakukan Copy-Paste, jika memang dilakukan sebaiknya perbaiki juga code scriptnya, hargai jerih payah penulis sbenarnya karena jika hanya Copy-Paste tulisannya tidak bakal terlihat rapih dan kemungkinan gambar yang di sertakan gak bakal muncul.

12. Perhatikan tanda baca : Perhatikan tulisan anda apakah sudah benar tanda bacanya. Kesalahan dalam titk koma saja akan berakibat mempunyai arti berbeda.

13. Jangan gunakan gambar berukuran besar : Gambar memang mempercantik halaman anda, gambar yang besar justru jadi bumerang buat loading page anda. Yang jelas blog anda pasti akan diabaikan untuk sementara waktu ketika loading page sedang berjalan.

14. Periksa dead link : Link yang telah mati bakal tidak di sukai pembaca, jangankan pembaca search engine pun tidak menyukai hal ini. Lakukan pengecekan dead link sesering mungkin, banyak tools di internet yang bisa melakukan tugas ini. Contohnya saja linktiger situs ini adalah salah satu yang menyediakan fasilitas untuk mengecek dead link.

15. Selalu pasang nama sumber artikel : Blog yang profesional selalu menghargai jerih payah orang lain, yang jelas memasang nama sumber tidak merugikan anda sedikitpun sebaiknya hargai jerih payah orang lain itulah yang membuat anda terlihat lebih profesional.

17. Cara merespon komentar yang baik : Jangan pernah brsikap menggurui, hargai semua komentar dengan bijak walaupun ada beberapa komentar yang menyebalkan. Ingat! blog tempat orang menuangkan semua ide dan pemikiran jadi semua orang pasti mempunyai pendapat yang berbeda.

Mengungkap Fenomena Maraknya Hotspot

Udah bukan hal yang baru lagi bagi kita saat melihat pengunjung mall dengan antusias melahap berita dari Internet melalui laptop di depannya, dengan hanya di temani sebotol air mineral atau snack udah dapat mengakses internet. Atau sekelompok mahasiswa yang menghabiskan waktunya di lingkungan kampus demi 'gratisan' Internet setiap hari. Namun jika kita cermati dengan baik, sebenarnya apakah sasaran utama dari penyedia layanan ini pada ruang publik kita?

Ada banyak sekali alasan untuk suatu pihak memasang hotspot pada lokal area bisnisnya. Sebut saja kampus, karena institusi pendidikan ini mempunyai tujuan paling 'mulia' dalam pemasangan hotspot. Tujuan utama suatu kampus dalam menyediakan layanan hotspot tentu saja untuk memperluas akses civitas akademikanya terhadap informasi global melalui Internet.

Seperti yang kita ketahui sejak banyaknya kampus menyediakan layanan hotspot memang kampus tersebut berhasil menjadi 'rumah kedua' bagi sebagian mahasiswa. Namun untuk alasan apakah mereka betah berlama-lama tinggal di kampus dengan laptop atau PDA-nya. Sebagian besar dari mahasiswa itu pasti semata-mata hanya karena 'gratis'. Karena seperti yang kita ketahui bersama, bahwa biaya komunikasi di Indonesia, termasuk untuk koneksi Internet, masih relatif mahal jika dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain. Itulah mengapa para mahasiswa lebih memilih 'gratis' di kampus, daripada 'bayar' di luar.

Aspek fasilitas kampus merupakan salah satu faktor penentu layak tidaknya sebuah perguruan tinggi disebut 'bergengsi'. Bayangkan jika sebuah perguruan tinggi ternama sekelas UGM atau UI tidak mempunyai hotspot. Apa kata dunia? Itulah mengapa saat ini banyak kampus berlomba memperbaiki infrastrukturnya, termasuk infrastruktur IT-nya.

Lalu bagaiman dengan pemasangan hotspot pada suatu pusat keramaian? Untuk yang satu ini, alasannya sangat mudah di tebak, tak lain dan tak bukan adalah aspek bisnis semata. Ya sebuah ruang public yang menyediakan hotspot pastilah akan menarik bagi para surfer untuk mendatanginya, para surfer ini biasanya berasal dari ekonomi menengah ke atas. ini merupakan suatu nilai tambah bagi proses marketing suatu pusat keramaian seperti cafe, mall dll.

jadi sebenarnya hal terpenting dari fenomena maraknya pemasangan hotspot saat ini adalah bukan untuk apa mereka memasangnya, namun bagaimana kita memanfaatkannya. Orang yang memakai layanan tersebut hanya untuk sekedar mengetahui gossip artis dan film terkini tentunya tidak akan mendapat manfaat yang sama dengan orang yang memakainya untuk bekerja melihat harga saham. Begitu juga dengan mahasiswa, walaupun sama-sama mendapat akses gratis di kampus, tergantung dengan bagaimana mereka akan memanfaatkannya.

Forex Simplified

A market expert doesn't often illustrate the possible pitfalls of forex trading with analogies about shoe shopping as Marilyn McDonald does in "Forex Simplified," but that is part of this book's charm. It is both entertaining and educational, with a conversational tone and genuine enthusiasm for forex trading not always found in similar tomes.

The book is geared towards beginning forex traders, offering basic definitions and outlining common traps for novice traders. She advises avoiding companies that promise little or no risk and firms that pressure you into trading immediately. She explains the importance of researching a company's track record before trading, and the book emphasizes throughout that forex trading involves risk and requires discipline.

The book includes a chapter on the benefits and components of both fundamental and technical analysis as they apply to forex. She explains macroeconomic indicators, asset markets and politics as well as the finer points of technical analysis including trends and types of indicators.

Another chapter offers advice on economic news and how it affects the market. McDonald says that beginning traders especially shouldn't trade the news, because, just like in the movie Fight Club, there are two rules in Trade Club: 1 ) The market doesn't make any sense, and 2) Even when it seems like it is making sense, the market doesn't make any sense.

There is a section on automated trading and how to write and test automated strategies, as well as a chapter on the role that emotions can play in trading. McDonald encourages traders to stay focused and set goals and stick to them. She says you will get emotional when you trade, but don't let your emotions get in the way of making rational decisions. The book also offers steps for developing a trading plan that includes strategies for buying, selling and holding, and advice on the best times to trade. McDonald notes that while a lot of forex traders say the best time to trade is at 2 a.m., the best time to trade is really any time there's more than one market open (i.e., when there's higher volume and higher liquidity). The book is breezy in tone, but by no means short on valuable information. Its appendices offer further research and graphs on common indicators, chart patterns and a guide to reading candlestick patterns, as well as more information on specific economic reports and a glossary of common forex terms. "Forex Simplified" is a great resource for the beginning forex trader and an interesting read.

Nah anda mesti berhati-hati pada sebuah update anti virus AVG 8 untuk system operasi Windows 2000, XP dan Vista. antivirus AVG 8 ini telah memberikan adanya kesalahan peringatan dari antivirus tersebut bahwa file system dalam Windows, user32.dll, adalah sebuah virus Trojan horse.

Seperti yang di tulis oleh beritaNet[dot]com bahwa masalah kesalahan warning AVG ini juga berpengaruh kepada antivirus yang sama versi Belanda, Perancis, Italia, Portugis, dan Spanyol.

Kali ini kita bakal ngebahas sebuah fenomena yang udah gak asing lagi di kalangan anak-anak fakultas IT Universitas Al-Zaytun. Apalagi kalo bukan "server INS001". So pasti.. nama yang satu ini udah mendarah daging ama anak-anak fakultas IT (pastinya....). Gimana gak????...... Setiap ada kuliah di Lab AGICT (nama lab computer fakultas IT) server INS001 selalu di kumandangin! Biasa di pake buat nge-upload tugas... Ngambil bahan tugas..
Selain itu Server INS001 juga biasa di pake untuk mengontrol semua komputer pada jaringan komputer AGICT. Server INS001 juga biasa di gunakan oleh para dosen, untuk memantau para mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang curang waktu ujian tengah semester (UTS) atau ujian akhir semester (UAS) jadi gak ada mahasiswa/mahasiswi yang berani nyontek, atau kerja sama. Soalnya pasti ketahuan ama pengawas ujian. So, server INS001 ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap jalannya proses perkuliahan di fakultas IT Universitas Al-Zaytun. Ibaratnya, gak ada server INS001 gak idup deh lab AGICT. Bagaikan bunga tanpa pot! halaaahhh!!!
